Black Diamond LLC operates Black Diamond Studios. This policy covers Black Diamond Studios mobile apps and related app services unless a separate privacy policy is provided for a specific product.

Information We Handle

Our apps are designed to keep core user-created data on the device whenever possible. The exact information handled depends on the app and features you use.

Local app data Saved content, feature configurations, timing or workflow settings, selected modes, app preferences, and local entitlement flags may be stored on your device. This information is used for app functionality and is not intentionally sent to Black Diamond Studios servers unless a specific app feature clearly discloses otherwise.

Device feature data Some apps may use Android Accessibility Service, overlays, foreground services, notifications, or similar device features only after you enable them or use a related feature. These permissions are used to provide user-directed app functionality. Unless a specific app feature clearly discloses otherwise, our apps do not intentionally read, store, transmit, or sell private screen content.

Ads data Apps that show ads may use Google Mobile Ads. Google Mobile Ads may collect and share IP address, app interactions, diagnostics, device and account identifiers, and advertising identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention.

Purchase data Apps that offer purchases use Google Play Billing. Google processes payment details. Our apps receive purchase status and product information needed to unlock purchased features, subscriptions, licenses, or other paid functionality.

Support communications If you email us, we receive your email address, message contents, and any information you choose to include so we can respond and keep support records.

Permissions And Device Access

Our apps request permissions only for disclosed app functionality. Depending on the app and features you use, an app may request or direct you to enable the following:

Internet and network state access for ads, billing, and app service connectivity.
Accessibility Service or similar assistive access to perform user-directed device actions.
Overlay access to show floating controls, tools, or status indicators over other apps.
Foreground service and notification access to keep user-started controls visible and manageable.
Battery optimization settings so user-started app activity can remain stable while active.

How We Use Information

To provide app features, save settings, operate user-configured tools or workflows, and restore purchases.
To display ads in ad-supported versions of our apps.
To maintain app security, prevent fraud, diagnose issues, and comply with law.
To respond to support requests you send to us.

We do not sell personal or sensitive user data.

We may share information with service providers that help operate app functionality, process purchases, serve ads, or respond to legal obligations. Current third-party services include:

Google Mobile Ads / AdMob for advertising and related measurement, fraud prevention, diagnostics, and ad delivery.
Google Play Billing for in-app purchases and purchase restoration.
Email providers when you contact us for support.

Google's handling of information is also governed by its own policies, including the Google Privacy Policy and Google Mobile Ads disclosures.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information involved. Local app data is stored using Android platform storage. Network transmissions controlled by us use modern encrypted connections where applicable. Google Mobile Ads states that data collected by its SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS.

Retention And Deletion

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it in the app, clear app storage, or uninstall the app. Purchase or entitlement status may remain associated with your Google Play account as handled by Google Play. Support emails may be retained as long as reasonably needed for support, business records, dispute prevention, or legal compliance.

You can request deletion of support communications or other personal information held by Black Diamond LLC by emailing contact@Blackdiamondstudios.dev. We may retain information when required for legal, security, fraud prevention, or compliance reasons.

Your Choices

You can disable or decline Android permissions in system settings, though some app features may stop working without them.
You can reset or delete your Android advertising ID through Android settings where available.
You can remove local app data by deleting saved content, clearing app storage, or uninstalling the app.

Children's Privacy

Our apps are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

International And Legal Disclosures

Your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, to prevent fraud or abuse, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Google Play Data Safety Guide

For apps using ads, in-app purchases, local device storage, or optional device permissions, Play Console disclosures should be consistent with this policy:

Data collected or shared through Google Mobile Ads may include approximate location inferred from IP address, app interactions, diagnostics, and device or other IDs.
Billing-related purchase status is used for app functionality and handled through Google Play Billing.
Local-only saved content, configurations, and settings are not collected by Black Diamond Studios unless a specific app feature transmits them off-device and discloses that behavior.
Our current apps do not create user accounts. Account deletion requirements may apply if a future app adds account creation.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our apps, data practices, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted at https://BlackDiamondStudios.dev/privacy.html with a new last updated date.
